At AJKDesign® we work primarily with solid wood. Wood is a living natural material that gives each product its own expression, while offering high strength and long life. By choosing solid wood, we create furniture and components that are made to be used – for a long time.

We mainly use carefully selected types of wood where structure, strength and dimensional stability are the focus. Natural variations in grain, color and texture are part of the material’s character and make each product unique.

Because wood is a living material, it changes over time. With the right care, it ages naturally and beautifully. Our products are designed to be maintained and, if necessary, restored, for example by sanding and refinishing. This means they can retain both function and appearance year after year.
